Juliet’s practice focuses on litigation, appeals and written advocacy. Juliet has successfully argued cases and/or motions before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Divisional Court, the Federal Court, the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, and a broad range of administrative tribunals and boards.
Juliet has also prepared a successful legal argument for the Government of Canada that led to amending legislation and prepared policy papers on issues pertaining to human rights, equity and discrimination where her recommendations were adopted.
Juliet has co-prepared and delivered presentations in various municipalities of Ontario on administrative law and tribunals and trial/hearing procedures for a government agency.
She has also served on a government committee with a deputy mayor and two councillors in assisting municipal government initiatives and currently serves on the board of a professional ballet school.
Juliet received her specialized BA (Hons.) (summa cum laude in Political Science)(high distinction in overall programs) from York University. She received her LL.B. from Windsor Law School where she served as a legal research assistant to a faculty member and a president of the university.
